Since 2009 DR5 is also 4WD and it has been the most sold second crossover in Italy (by Unrae – May 2009).
The engine is 2.0 Acteco Euro 4, available in bi-fuel versions: petrol/LPG and petrol/natural gas. It has four cylinders with 95 Kw max power (128 HP), it turns at 5500 and has a max couple 180 Nm that turns at 4000 rpm.
It has an intelligent driving system by Borg Warner, world-famous leader about engineering.
The ITM 3e System is the last interactive technology by Borg Warner about front-wheel drive/ four- wheel drive. It uses a third damping factor unlike other electromagnetic device.
It deals with a 4WD System electronically controlled. It works in the following way: the control interacts with the ECU of the engine, it takes in signs from chassis’ sensors to size up the speedy of each rolling wheel and it supplies real-team part of the couple to the back axles.
The ITM works as a electromagnetic clutch. This device can continually hand out the front couple axles to the back ones till a 50:50 link. Normally the driving force transfers exclusively to the front axles.
 Therefore the fuel consumption is perfect and the road holding is brilliant. The soft and comfortable suspensions give to the car an excellent dynamic style.
The DR5 2.0 i- 4WD is product model full-optional and its cost is really competitive considering the pay-off of the product: it is an “intelligent formula”.
The front seats can be heated and widen the equipment of the 1.6 version:
